Today my WebSite got updated to the new format by my son Jean-Paul.  This took quite a bit of work to do, and was much appreciated!  The changes included converting the background to grey - much better on the eye as it reduced the high contrast.  Changes also included updating all the text, including two years worth of bio notes and adding two years of new art!

What I also decided is to launch my new signature line 'Arduino'!

Thank you to Jean-Paul for your hard work today!

Establishing The Background

Thanks to one of my two lovely daughters, Daniela, I was able to set up this Blog site to start writing about my art.  Art has always been a part of me right from when I could remember in Grade 2 at Palmerston Public School, in Toronto, Ontario.  I still remember wanting to create a sketch of Spiderman on what must have been a newsprint type quality paper.  Something in me drove me to want to draw that person with all the webs.

Moving forward through time, my next major recollection was in Grade 8, when I was trying to decide what High School to go to when i lived in Downsview, Ontario.  My love of art had me apply to a 'new' high School named C.W. Jeffery's that was opening up a major art wing and a 4 year curriculum in art!   I applied with whatever portfolio I had and I was accepted!

The next four years (Grade 9 to Grade 12) had me taking a wide variety of art courses - some 3 hours of art every day - in addition to the regular high school curriculum.

More on some of the high school highlights in my next blog.
